GREETINGS

My name is Yvonne Kamanga, and I am the founder of Fund a Girl, an initiative aimed at improving the lives of underprivileged Malawian girls by supporting their secondary school education. I would like to thank you for choosing to be a part of this world changing community. You are the change we want, and your efforts are highly appreciated.Your contribution, however it is, will go a long way in supporting underprivileged girls to stay in school, thereby contributing to their efficacy in overcoming pressures that they meet, including dropping out of school, early child birth and early marriages. Addressing these important factors is essential for Malawi as a country to develop. As has been said many times, educating the girl child is educating the nation.
You can contribute to Fund a Girl in a number of ways, ranging from sponsorship that covers tuition only for community day and boarding secondary schools, to sponsorship that covers all basic needs that a girl needs in order to have, such as school uniform, soap, sanitary pads, stationery and minimal pocket money. You can find details of these packages in our packages section on this website. We will be more than happy to link you with many girls who require this support, or you can provide that support through Fund a Girl.
I thank you for taking your time to visit our site, and I look forward to your contribution to this noble cause.

ABOUT US
Fund a Girl is an initiative established with the aim to support needy girls, especially those in secondary schools, in their quest for an education. Many girls are forced to drop out of school and get into early child marriages due to many circumstances such as lack of school fees, lack of school supplies and welfare day to day needs, absence of motivation/inspiration and inadequate sexual and reproductive health information
